New Braunfels Community Cat Coalition (NBCCC)
I founded the New Braunfels Community Cat Coalition, establishing Comal County’s first comprehensive Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. This innovative initiative addresses feral cat populations through humane, scientifically-supported methods that protect both animal welfare and public health.
Public Health Protection
Implemented vaccination protocols that significantly reduced the risk of rabies transmission in feral cat colonies throughout Comal County, contributing to community-wide public health safety.
TNR Program Development
Helped designed and launched Comal County’s first standardized TNR program, creating protocols for humane feral cat management and population control.
Community Education
Oversaw educational materials and workshops that have informed thousands of Central Texas residents about responsible community cat care, reducing unnecessary shelter intake and euthanasia.
